Early morning February 18, 2023, the Riverview School District IT department was alerted to potential threat on a district computer.
Unfortunately, our organization has fallen victim to a cyber-attack. We are currently uncertain as to whether this attack was triggered by phishing or malware, or caused by a system vulnerability exploit. However, it has led to unauthorized access to some of our local systems, and compromised both network and internet access. Fortunately, all of our M365 services and data appear to be secure at this time.
IT staff will be working through the weekend to determine the scope of the attack, and establish a plan for recovery. Critical alerts will be sent to staff via ParentSquare with additional information posted here.
This page has been setup for outage updates. Most current information will be posted here. Any urgent alerts will be sent to staff via the ParentSqaure app.
